1.     How to do a skin patch test?

While every precaution is taken to produce a safe product to care for your skin, not all skins are created equal. For your safety, we advise that you do a skin patch test before using a new product.

a.     Apply a small amount of the product on an area of your skin that is not too noticeable in case you experience undesired reaction (eg. behind your ear/under jawline/side of neck).

b.     Leave the product on for 24 hours.

c.     During this time, if redness, irritation, itchiness, rash, or stinging sensations occur, immediately wash the product off with water and discontinue use of the product. If necessary, seek medical advice.

2.     What conditions help to keep Dewtiful natural skincare products in their best condition?

Dewtiful products are made from the finest ingredients without harsh chemicals. To keep them at their optimum condition, consistency and efficacy:

a.     Place Dewtiful products in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat

b.     Care should be taken to prevent introducing moisture to the product. Use an applicator to pick up the product from its jar. Avoid leaving products in showers or top of the hand basin

c.     Always keep Dewtiful products in temperatures below 30ºC. Never leave products in the car, on a window sill or on top of a heater where higher temperatures may cause products to alter their intended consistency.

3.     Can the facial serum be used on my teenage daughter?

Dewtiful’s game face EXTRA LIFT ANTI-AGING serum was formulated for maturing skin. Our customers range from teenagers to those in their 70s, both men and women. We do recommend everyone to do a skin patch test first. As long as the person’s skin agrees with the product, the serum is safe to use for younger people. Prevention is better than cure. Caring for our health and wellbeing is an education process.

4. Will you be making a sunscreen?

Sunscreens are tricky to formulate and need special approval which translates to an expensive and extensive process. Dewtiful endeavours to keep products affordable and therefore have been strongly advised to leave this product to multimillion dollar companies!
